Someone thats been lerking here for years, Have a 4106 with tired engine, and looking for something with a 50 seriesin it with allison transmission, heard
rts are avaiilable with this combo, anyone know if this to be the case, if so where they available,

The few that came with a 50 series used a ZF transmission same was true for the ones with the right handed 6v92

There's 50 RTS with S50 and VR731R in them in revenue service at big transit in Toronto.

One R for Retarder, the other R for Reverser.

There you go buy one from Canada the few I saw here in the states had the ZF transmission which is not a bad transmission cost likes crazy to repair check with the guys on the RTS Yahoo board they should know were to find one for you
