My Series 60 engine has two oil pressure senders.  One is for DDEC and one goes to the front for the dash gauge.  (Pretty standard I believe.)

I located the oil pressure senders at the front of the motor above the flywheel housing.  How do I tell which one is which?  I suspect the one for the dash is the larger diameter one since it matches the replacement sender I have, but I really don't know.

Any ideas?  I suppose it isn't a two stroke so less people know these engines.

I guess I could reconnect the dash gauge and see if it quits doing screwy things when I disconnect the sender.  If I disconnect the DDEC sender teh engine will probably quit pretty quick with no oil pressure reading.

The larger oil pressure sender that I think is the right one appears to have the stud on top loose which may be the problem.

Ya think?  ???  ;)
Seriously yes it most likely is the problem!
Second if you disconnect the DDEC sending unit it will definitely shut the engine down! (unless someone you bought it from over rode that option! ;), opps what am I saying? He wouldn't do thinks like that as honest as he is!)
