As a testiment to the insulation, I was working inside yesterday (sealing the cracks with white mastic roof sealer [like really thick paint]) in 90 degree weather and that one 10,000btu portable A/C kept it quite comfortable inside.

how thick is the insulation? what is the density?

The insulation is 2.25" thick.  It is sprayed on two part insulation, so pretty stiff.  Don't know the density, but there can't be much around that is more dense then this insulation.  Good Luck, TomC
