Help needed in the Augusta GA area

I posted a few days ago about possibly needing someone to check out a bus in the Augusta GA area for me (I am in Michigan and would appreciate saving a 14 hour drive if the bus is in poor shape).  Someone responded and said they were twenty minutes from Augusta and would be glad to help out.  Unfortunately, it appears as though that thread was part of the three days of posting that was lost.  I now believe that I am interested enough in this bus to ask someone to check it out for me.  If the person that offered before is still willing (or anyone else for that matter) please email me at cbm2@hotmail.com

We bought our bus from Talmadge Lewis (Lewis Bus Services) in Augusta. He has a decent reputation, and if he's not the seller, you might arrange for his shop to look it over. Good luck.

I am in Augusta but am not very knowledgeable about MCI busses.  That being said I know junk if I see it.  John Vickrey was the other poster who offered help.  If John is up for it maybe the both of us could go take a look for you.

That would be great if the two of you could take a peak.  I know it needs tires but I would love to know it isnt a rust bucket or smoking non-stop before I drive that far to do a final check on it.  I suspect the guy is being real honest with me but................

We will be in Sanford, MI after Aug 9.  Probably be there for about a month....

Went back and re-read the post.  Mike had a good idea.  If you want a complete mechanical insp.  Lewis Bus could probably do that.  We will let you know if it's junk and then you can decide.
