I used 16 gauge cold roll sheet. accepts paint good.doesn't seem to distort in sun.can be screwed or riveted on..for windows..local sheetmetal shop for source.most will cut to your size.

To cover windows, we purchased sheets of .063 aluminum at Bob Dean Supply in Ft. Myers. Also purchased any steel angle iron and steel square tubing we needed from them. Stainles steel replacement panels came from International Bus & Parts in Apopka, FL (near Orlando).  Jack

thanks for the replys guys, Jack I totaly forgot about dean supply,I was born and raised in ft myers. I think I could go to garden street steel and get a good deal too, is there any sites that show this being done to the windows. I really like the sst so I dont think I would change the front of the bus.

There have been several great threads and folks who had sites showing step by step how they did the skinning and roof raises and everything else too. But I'll be darned if I can remember who or where!
