The easy way is to buy the switches from Ramco 219-294-7691 any toggle switch will work for the heat, the control for the mirrors heads are a 4 way selectable switch with a off/on for each mirror plus they will send you instructions

Lonnie time to go

IF i was to guess  "guess'

You need two position controllers for top and bottom like your car.
Another switch for the heat but on a timer or temp sensor like car rear window defrost.
You don't want to overheat the mirror.
This is if you had to build your own.

Just a idea

I want the problem that Crown has.  Anybody got power mirrors for sale?

Thanks

John

Ramco has a switch kit for the mirrors. Also check out Velvac mirrors on the Ebay site. Periodically they have some real good buys on the Velvacs. I won the bid on a set of heated, motorized upper/lower and turn signal on arm in black for $482 including shipping. These sell at Velvac for over $600 each. I lost out on a chrome set a while back, outbid by $10, I wasn't paying attention that day. Velvac switch kits are about $100 each, includes switches, wiring harness and instructions. Good Luck.

John,
I have the wiring schematic somewhere, I will try to find it.  I ended up just buying 2 switches from Ramco (one each for drivers and passengers mirror).  Each switch has a 4 way toggle to adjust and a switch to change from upper to lower.  For the heaters, I used a standard SPST switch with a red LED indicator (one switch for both mirrors).  Jack

Contact Ramco tech support.  I got several calls back while they tracked down the info I needed.on a couple of USED mirrors that I got when an RV repair place went hooves-up.  Ramco support is the best, and so are their products.
