Bus inspection near Huntsville, AL

Is anyone in the Huntsville, AL area that would be interested in looking at an Eagle for us? A friend of mine who has sold his schoolie and is looking for an Eagle has located one in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. A few pictures look promising but hard to really tell without inspection. And its hard to get from Minneapolis, MN to Muscle Shoals, AL to check it out.

it might help if you offered to compensate with fuel expense.  You could determin if it is worth it to you by what it would cost the fellow Knut to make the journey and what his level of expertese might be.  For me, I would have to pay you for the entertainment value.

There are decision points in a purchase.  What is more important to your friend.....engine condition or interior?  You will want to access the condition of the engine if you buy and that would be a trip to a DD auth shop with a chassis dynomometer.  For the conversion you need to know how they insulated it.  Foam sheeting or hot foam spray are the only ones that are acceptable the sheeting must be specified.  Redoing one is more work than an original conversion.  Equipped with what?
