Engine Vibration

I have a 8-92 that has vibration at all rpm's. Can someone tell me what causes that.

We need more input, they all vibrate some, it's a diesel. Does it vibrate while standing or moving ? Vibrate more as you go faster ? Are you sure it's the engine could be the drive line if it only vibrates while moving. Universal joints will vibrate the vehicle if they are experiencing bearing failure.

Richard that could be lots of things, some minor and some major. Need more info.
Could be an injector, cam, piston-rod assembly, and many other things.
Does it do it sitting still, under a load, etc.?

The engine vibrates all the time. Sitting still, load,no load, any rpm. Last summer I dropped a valve on a trip and had to have a head, piston and sleave replaced. There were two guys working on the moter at the same time,running the rack,setting the valves,etc. I have never seen that before and I think something isn't adjusted right.

Very well could be!
Also since you say you dropped a valve there could be more too it than that!
Has it vibrated since it dropped the valve?
If so it could be a damaged piston-rod, or wrist pin assembly!

It has vibrated since the valve dropped. The piston,rod, sleavewas replaced as one unit. I think everything needs readjusting?

Hard to tell when just one cylinder is acting up. Case in point-on my truck that had a 8V-92TA, I broke the retaining clip from the lifter for the injector on one of the cylinders that eventually rounded out the hole and broke the push rod. There wasn't anything I could do since the retaining groove was pounded out. Since I was in New York and lived in Los Angeles, I drove back home on 7 cylinders. I quite frankly surprised me that there wasn't that much difference in power and once above idle, you couldn't even notice it.
What was the repair-new cylinder head-and that happened at 220,000 miles, which was a pisser since back then the engines had a 200,000 mile warranty (as compared to 500,000 miles now). Good Luck, TomC
