Wow, I thought I came from the pits.

Saratoga??  Oh man, Devin, I'm so glad to hear you survived!  :D

Saratoga was one of our rivals in everything. Basketball, 4-H, FFA.  Best game I ever played was against Saratoga (not hard to remember that, my name wasn't spelled right, so I didn't have very many good games. Anyone want to see my splinter collection?  ;) )

Gumpy,
This will remain a sticky post (Thanks Cliff for the suggestion) until it goes for 24 hours without a reply.  Jack

OK you board members. Help out a fellow busnut. There are at least 500 of you reading this who have not voted.  Take the time to vote. Please.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

As of this morning, he's at 131.

I really hope this kid's on cloud 9 this week. This is fun. Thanks everyone.

Craig,

Cat posted this to some of her BBS's also.

Maybe when the contest is over, we could find some way to congratulate him, whether he wins or loses, without him knowing a lot of his votes came from a bunch of NUTS!

I'll ask my Mom if she knows him and/or his family when I'm back there next week.

I put one in for him.  Hope he wins.  But, I really like the American Flag one though...

brojcol:

Actually, you can vote for BOTH.  There is a winner from each category, Student and Teacher.  We are stuffing the ballot box for a student entry, and the American flag is a teacher entry.  By the way you are permitted to change your vote, too.  It counts the lastest vote from a particular registered user.

Also, everyone needs to realize that the person with the highest number of votes does not automatically win the Grand Prize.  The rules are written so that the top 10 vote getters (in each category) get handed over to a committee, and they select the big winner.  However all 10 do get some nice prizes, anyway.
