Bet it's kinda tough getting that jeep up on the hydrofoils...

Jack,

I just picked up two for the Kids recently and we have really enjoyed using them.

I picked them up at Gander mountain and they actually will (just) fit in my front bay.

They were the smallest single they had, but I wouldn't recommend them for adults.

I am going to pick up a mount for the top of the Jeep though. Hate to give up that bay space...

I also have an inflatable two person, but I find the sides are too high for my liking.

Great fun, either way, and there are some beautiful rivers and lakes to explore.

Here is a photo of us on a rental kayak in PA.  We just picked our kayaks up at the warehouse yesterday on our way from VA to NC.  Supposed to rain next 3 days, bummer!  Jack

See what happens when you go north? Next you'll get the urge to go polar bear hunting ot take a sauna and jump into lake superior lol, it's funny watching florida people jump into lake superior, we take bets on how far they can run on the water.  Kayaking is a lot of fun tho, lots of them up here.

That is great, Jack! There is nothing like spending 8 hours our kayaking. If you aren't built up to it, you can get a little sore, but it is still worth it.

Enjoy your new hobby!

God bless,

John

Awww, Bryce. Never fear. Jack can wrassle those big fellas ;D.

We really enjoyed it when we Kayaked in Weeki Wachee area. It is a lot of fun to explorer those marshes. We also went out one of the rivers a couple of miles to the ocean, and had a picnic. That was fun.

Bryce,

Really there is one motor per boat ;D. Each propeller has two fins, on a kinda goofy looking stick ;D.

We had 5 Kayaks in the bus before, put them in threw the window in the back.  2 were the long calmer river type that had rudders.  We went to Hot Springs and paddled the French Broad :D.  You'll be close to the Green river when you come to Palmetto Cove, they have timed releases.  Not tuff and you can get by without skirts on the upper portion.  My buddies just bought a couple like those on sale.    Did you get the skirts?
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

We did not get the skirts because Paula said she is not going in any water that requires a skirt. Does Green river have any flat water?  LOL   Seriously, I will ask you more about Green River when we arrive at Palmetto Cove.  Jack
