I was heavy duty into aviation for 20 years before my bus. I started an RV 7 project in 2006. You will get back to it.

That is one assume plane, I can only imagine what your Eagle is going to finish looking like. My Dad flew a spitfire during WW 2

I had 4 planes. I started with 1847 Navion 225 HP and after I sold it  a 1980 Cessna Cutlass soon joined by a Cessna 150 and then 68 Beech Baron. Now have to go slower as sold all the planes. Jerry

You're right about that.  I had a 1978 Turbo Arrow before this one and the 235 is pretty much an almost idiot proof machine.  We constantly had problems with the Continental engine in that Arrow. That big derated Lycoming O540 engine in the 235 is sooo reliable.  Below 5000 feet I could carry 82 gals fuel and 4 passengers and  worry little about going over gross weight.  It was truly a workhorse. 

I enjoyed flying for 24 years, but I must say that my wife and I enjoy the leisure of the bus adventure much more, and the best thing about it---I don't have to tell the FAA every time I want to tinker with my coach.
