Toad Brake Choices

I have towed our Suburban over 10,000 miles and Grand Cherokee over 15,000 miles behind our 40' Prevost with no problems, but I am finally ready to purchase supplemental brakes. We are heading to Idaho, Yellowstone and Glacier National Park where the extra breaking may come in handy.  The SMI Air Force One looks like a good system but I am leaning toward something I can easily move between the Suburban and the Jeep. I read that Nick had problems with the BrakeBuddy a while back. What about the Add-A-Brake unit that Camping World sells. Any other thoughts.

I would like to buying and install a system while on the road since I can't get one before we leave Friday.

Hi John,

I ended up with the Roadmaster Even Brake.  Like you, I switch it between the H2 and the Yukon very easily.

It works very well and does as it's suppose to do. The only complaint I have is where to store it when we reach

our destination.. It's very light but, bulky.. It takes about 2 hours to install the wireing and your ready..
