Well folks, this isn't directly bus related but it's busnut related lol, today is the one year anniversary of my untimely death from a massive heart attack, it's also the one year anniversary of my untimely revival from that death, twice as a matter of fact, it was also one year ago today, that I quit smoking as a result of that heart attack and I haven't looked at a cigarette since, the money I saved from not buying cigarettes has been a lot, ( cartons of cigarettes are up to almost 9 bucks a carton here now for generics)  that money has gone back into the bus in the form of a better class of sawdust being piled.  The main reason I'm noting this day is because the doctors were doubtful I would see it because of the extent of the damage that was done by the infarction, ( I love that word lol), but one year has passed and I'm heading into my second year of survivorship and I feel not only proud but thankful, thankful to be alive and thankful for the many friends I have here on the board that have stood by me through out the inconvienses that have cropped up. Here I am, like it or not, still around to make somebody's day a little more difficult lol.

It's been that long? I'm glad you're still here to give us trouble! ::)

Keep making sawdust, maybe that is the reason you're still here!

Say Hi to Libby, you guys are always in my prayers.

We are all blessed by deaths loss.  We are fortunate to have you and your wicked sense of humor still here with us.  Hopefully you will continue to fight and continue to keep us informed and entertained here on the board. You are a perfect example of how prayers do get answered.
Faith is not believing that God can, It's knowing that God will.

Wow, not sure I can live up to those expectations, you asking a lot there cat lol.  It really doesn't seem like a year has gone by tho.

Looking forward to it jack, I talked to the guy out at the point yesterday, he runs the campground on the bay, just for grins and chuckles I asked him what the rates were now, he said 20 a day but if I wanted to drag in a bunch or buses for a rally or something like that he'd give a free day for 2 paid ones, thats not a bad deal I guess, told him I'd think about it.

I think we should plan a shindig for your 10th and 20th anniversery !!!!!

Wow Cody! This is a day to celebrate big time!  We are all very happy that you chose to prove the doctors wrong.  Somebody has to do that.  Keep up the good work.  We look forward to celebrating many more with you.

A lot of folks here and elsewhere were praying for you and still do.  It is a great blessing that you are still around and still able to make saw dust.  We praise God for that.  I think God has a special affection for sawdust makers since Christ grew up the son of a carpenter and likely became a carpenter by trade before setting out on His ministry.

I appreciate the good thoughts but actually my motivation came from not giving up my life insurance willingly, my dad used to tell me the secret to a long marriage was simple, it's life insurance, last one standing wins, so far I'm still in the running lol.
