John Deere with this OHV water cooled engine is pretty powerful. With the hydrostatic drive, I've pulled over 900 lbs of dead hardwood with a chain.
It would be cool to change the gearing to something a bit faster, say, at least 10 mph. Another idea would be to stick a water cooled 3 cylinder Isuzu diesel on it with an angle drive! YeeHaw!

Too many words... I got rid of most of my metric tools so I  have to build that set back up, I guess if something goes wrong the phrase should be, "Nothing Runs"

I bought my wife one of those in 1979 (my time flys) I made a trip with her from Houston to Charleston SC one time in it trust me keep the Deere it rides better but she loved that little car.
