I have finished my dinette and after my trip I will post photos and possibly plans. One tool that has made it a joy to build has been the Kreg jig. Fast, simple, and better than biscuits, dowels, or dovetailing. Clean strong joints. How this tool has flown under my radar for so long baffles me. I bought the Kreg Jr. from Lowes for $40. They start at $9 and then up to thousands but the Jr. is all one would need unless you do wood for a living.

I used the kreg tool hundreds of times on my conversion. That's how I attached most of studs for the interior walls. Also used it to attach various things to the plywood walls. Wouldn't be without it.    BUR

Yep it's a great jig and the best part of the kreg system is that if a person uses slightly unstable wood and it starts to loosen somehwat over time, you can take a screwdriver and tighten it up , ot you can even disassemble it, good system.
