We used Coachnet last year when our starter quit in a walmart lot.  they even used Central Florida Bus at my request, after they talked John into signing up with them.  i paid for the rebuilt starter, they paid for everything else.  Last summer i blew a tire, Coachnet sent a guy out who had us going in about 45 min.  No charge to us.

We have AAA RV+.  and they sent people out in past incidents, but Coachnet is better.  More used to dealing with buses and RV's.

  I read their site, it says unlimited towing. I poked around to see what that meant, but how far will they tow you? I currentlyu have AAA gold+ or whatever, they say up to 200 miles. I also had goodsam. Once. Got really tired of seeing the mail box stuffed full of junk mail. How many times do you have to tell them you dont want theyre car insurance and stuff.

I have AAA+RV Gold  and have need a tow twice in last year and both time took allot of explaining and some heated word to finally convince AAA That my 40 foot MCI was a RV.  I have progressive but have not used them because I was told I would have to pay out of pocket then submit a claim. Just researching possible future change

Coach-Net will tow you to the nearest qualified service center.  There is no limit on how far that service center is.  If you were in say Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and the nearest service center was Fairbanks or even Anchorage I believe they would tow you there.

There is a story brought up often about how Coach-Net paid to have a motorhome towed from Alaska to the lower 48 once.  The tow was several thousand miles.  I don't know any of the details like why the motorhome had to be towed so far.

I dropped a valve in a 8v92 and did not want to go to the place CoachNet had setup for repairs and it was not a problem for CoachNet to take me where I wanted to go 250 miles farther also told them I wanted a lowboy which they had no problem with even had to go out of the way to clear 1 underpass.
One thing you need to watch is what plan you have the first one I had with CoachNet did not cover the tow vehicle I had to change my own flat lol

Clifford is right on checking out the two different plans Coach-Net has.  I had the gold plan.  The salesperson at renewal time tried to sell me on the platinum plan, but the only thing she brought up was the medical evacuation coverage.  I declined the upgrade.  She never told me that the platinum plan would cover towing a trailer.  I would have taken the trailer coverage had I known.  It cost me $300 to get my trailer towed because I didn't get the $10 upgrade.

  If your a reasonable distance, will they tow it to your house? They sound unbeatable by the stories being told.

Coachnet, but I havn't used it yet.  Just had a lot of positives when I checked it out in the past.

I doubt they would tow to your house unless it was closer than the nearest service facility.  Coach-Net has been known to tow to another facility if it is reasonably close and you don't want to use the closest place.  A popular example is taking a tow vehicle to a factory dealer if it is under warranty even though a closer shop could technically fix it.

Yeah, Progressive wouldn't cover my bus in NC.  I have Coach-Net, only used it for my car when I got locked out 200 miles from home.  They towed me to a dealer ~15 miles away, were there in 20 minutes, no charge.  Couldn't have been better; people couldn't have been nicer.
