Who is the best for roadside assistance when it comes to our bus?  Need a tow, some gas , what ever who would be best? I'm talking some that might know about these buses and doesn't question you on how it is a RV!!

Coachnet.  Service seems to be the same as Good Sam but, no junk mail and six month pre-billing.

We had Good Sam, but when I needed a tire changed on my last bus, they sent out a guy in a mini van with inadequate tools and a toy compressor.  This was in spite of my careful explanation of the size of the vehicle.  It turned into a multi-hour ordeal.  The guy had never touched a Dayton wheel and needed my help to deal with it.  He even had to leave me to go buy a socket big enough.  If it had been my 5a, he would not have been able to even break the lugs.  I switched to coach.net since people say they are more accustomed to buses.  I must say though, I have not yet had an opportunity to test them out.

I like Coach-Net too.

Be warned that they may not provide service if you caused the problem doing your own work.  Say you changed the fuel filters at home and now can't get reprimed.  They may not send service on their dime.  (They really shouldn't be obligated to pay for service in this case.)

I have Coachnet.  the only interaction I've ever had with them was buying the service, and the lady on the phone was very nice...  I went with them because i got their number in a FMCA magazine, and because the folks on the S&S RV forums all seem to like them the best.  They cover every vehicle I own for the same low low price...

I've had Good Sam for many years and am completely satisfied with their service. I have used their towing service for my coach, tow dolly and automobiles over the years and have no complaints.

Progressive has jumped me and fueled me and stuff when I needed it. But I have heard others complain that Progressive doesnt always insure converted buses, it seems to depend on where you live......

Do you have any out of pocket expenses with Coachnet or is payment for service payed directly by them?? I've heard that some Roadside Programs make you pay the bill at the time of service and then reimburse you afterwards.
