So I just returned from a week of boondocking using a solar package that I just installed.(Renogy 100W panel and controller. $170)) Installation was very simple. We didnt have to start the bus or use a generator as the solar charged the batteries nicely each day. This was a trial to get my feet wet with solar so it wasn't permantely installed. Now that I know more I have ordered another panel and will install them permanently on the roof. I will also look at adding a 3rd battery and maybe a third panel. What I read suggests that rather than tilting the panel(pain in the butt) adding a 3rd panel alleviates that necessity.
