He told me the output of the gen is 240V comprised of two 120V legs. I am no electrician but I would think that would mean four wires, ground, common and two hots? I agree about the 30 bucks but he did not want more and he was running the credit card. I will make it up to him if he visits my airplane shop with his 1957 C-182.

We must have different model airs because both my new airs are wired this way and confirmed by Dometic. Is it possible I have a Duo Therm and not Brisk Air or visa versa?  :) It's comfortable now in my bus. Thanks Nick

Thank you all for your input this is a great place with great people  :)

Airbag,
You are right about the 4 wires in this configuration.  Black- Hot 1, Red- Hot 2, Green- Ground, White- Neutral.  There are lot's of ways to tie that into a transfer switch and then on to your breaker panel.  I think you may want to do some digging to find out what is going where.  It's like archaeology - always peeling  back another layer of history!

Hi Glenn
We did that today, followed the wires to the transfer switch and to the J box in the baggage pit then to the breaker box in the cabin. All is well I hope. At least everything is working as advertised now.

Tenor

Cool!  Or at least now you should be!  ;)
