Hey guys. I have three brand new GM pistons that are for some diesel but not sure what. they are 4.84 inch diameter with four rings. the box says piston kit D3 1  697476.  cast onto the sides next to the pin bore is 'zollner  4632'  'clear o matic'  on the other side same place is and old style GMC logo and 692716.
at this physical size this has to be for a commercial engine but no idea what. I would like to sell them if I can figure out what they go to. time for all you diesel engine guys to show how good you are. any help is appreciated.
thanks

Steve, military spec pistons are different than the civil most of the time it's a lager compression ring 4 ring pistons are us in transportation engines also but the # you gave shows to be military and I have no idea what you are going to do with those 3 piston's   have a great evening
