I have been reading this bulletin board for years altho I do not post very often. (not very computer savy) I have gained so much info from this board and I am so appreciative of all who share information. I have info for those who are needing rv windows. I read a post on this board
a few weeks ago by someone who had visited Bontragers RV Supply in White Pigeon Mi. Who stated that he had visited with them and had very good results. I was needing windows for my 05 conversion and new was out of the question. I called them and found out they just got in a shipment of new thermo pane windows. Long story short I drove 12 Hrs from central Arkansas to Michigan. The windows are all types, thermo pane, sliders, screens, trim rings, black frames. These are the windows made for the big rigs(busses). The people who work there could not have been any nicer and helpful and the prices were unbelievable. Even after driving 24 hrs. and paying for a overnite stay I was very satisfied with my purchase. If any of you are needing really top quality windows at affordable prices and can get up there I would highly reccomend them. They also have tons of all types of new surplus. I only met them monday and have no connection with Bondragers. I am only posting this as info to the bussing community.

Great to hear from another satisfied busnut, and welcome to the board!

I also need some rv type, but I live in Texas and it's just too darn far for me.  :'(

Cody is very happy with the purchase he made there, and installed them in his Eagle.

I would love to get a deal like that. :)

I would like to know more about your Eagle 05 conversion. Do you belong to Eagles International? If not you might want to, as we love to talk about our Eagles and share knowledge. ;) Have you had a chance to visit our new website yet? Dale is working very hard on it and is making some progress. Come join the fun! www.eaglesinternational.net

Good Luck,

Paul, I'm heading downstate for some more medical stuff on 11/05.  I'm taking the truck and will be hitting bontragers, if you get me the dimensions of the windows you need and how many you want I'll get them and we'll square up at some point down the road.  With the way the economy is calving on us I"m thinking the smart money is on grabbing what is available while it's available, I should be able to get the windows for around 20 bucks each or so, they list them at 40 but I got mine for 20 lol. You can email me if you want on them, mine were I think 51 long by 28 high or something like that, I'm thinking yours will probably be around that too.  I can store the windows here until we can figure out how to connect or ship, whatever way you want.

Cody,

Here are the dimensions, just short of 52" long by 28 3/4" high. If the dimensions are a little under I can work with that.  I will need four of them. The fronts that are angled, not sure what I will do there. I might have to square up the sides down the road. So I guess just get six then I'll have too. ::)

Let me know how you make out at the doctor, I know that can't be any fun. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks Cody,

Paul

Paul, thats the same size I bought for mine so that'll make it easy I know which rack they are in lol.I'll get 6 of them and the trim rings. I had the same problem with my front side windows, the angled front, I didn't do anything with those just not sure what all I'm going to do there.  All the windows they had were for the right hand side of the bus, only difference is that when they are installed on the left side the weep holes will be on the top of the channel lol, I got around that by drilling weep holes in the bottom where they would normally be, lol.  All the weep hole does is drain water that splashes into or accumulates in the channel.
