Well not exactly the help you would think but I'm changing the window valance's in my bus to add a little color. As you see the pics, the carpet is considered a little on the wild side. IT, the carpet, NOT ME! Anyway, it's a mixture of greens etc and my bus is mostly brown's and whites. The window valance I'm considering is a solid green to match the green in the carpet. I have done one side and left one side original.
Here are 3 pics to show before and after and a pic of our dirty carpet to get an idea of what were trying to match.

What is your opinion? Keep in mind, these were taken at night so the color may not be the best! The original stained wood trim where as the new are pine boards covered with cloth!

Thanks...

i'd go with a deep red to match your babe and her music playing.  Very Hot!  ;D ;D

or you could go with bright green to indicate your environmental concerns.

or you could leave your windows alone to match the current state of the economy.  i.e. don't spend any money.

i'll see if i can get my artistic side to look at it also, but this late at night, she's already out. ::)

Well Ace I have to say I kinda like the green. But then again don't take my word for it, I like SETRA's too so ya know I have weird (or superb) tastes! LOL! ;D  BK  ;D

I think it great!

Having the trim board covered as per photo will help make the room look bigger...narrow border of wood will let your eye see more of the room better. Other words, by having big wide border cause more attention than curtain & wall. Balance is best.

About color...great blend and soft contrast.

To me, I would never go for strong color like some coaches I have seen. They are not what make me feel like being a nice home. My opinion.

Keep up the good work.

Ace.
I think that the wood looks a lot better, I would leave it alone, Its looks real nice just the way it is.

Ace,
First..you don't know what dirty carpet is.  Don't ask!  Second and the rest...The green valance is warmer.  The carpet is a very nice choice and won't show dirt as much as solid and thanks forshowing that.  I like the straight wood trim.  I think I would find other ways to soften and warm the room but that green looks good.

Ace,

Actually I like both of them!

If it was me I would leave well enough alone, but that's me!

Enjoy whatever you choose and forget what we like. Some may think that hot pink would look nice! ;D

Ace,
Taste is a personal thing. Do what pleases you & Susan.  As for me, I like the wood, but you know how much wood we have in our coach.  I learned a long time you can't please everyone, so please yourself (and Susan).  Jack
PS:  Both look nice

I like as is......however if you are wanting some color the green looks nice too.

I would have thought the red in the carpet would be nice but it is too close to the wood color, the valance needs to contrast otherwise not worth doing it.

chriss

I Like the Green. it makes a nice accent.

It really is a matter of personal taste and choice, but I agree with Jack that the look of the wood is real nice.

But look what we ran across at the West Virginia State Fair this summer.... Ace, you've been holding out on us!!!
