OK I am still trying to learn this bus.

I have found a furnace thermostat and i see a breaker for it in the breaker box but I don't see any thing that I think could be one.

I do have two roof top A/C units and i see where they both have the heat strip in them.

Could that be what is controlled by the wall thermostat?  The Wires come off the back of it and go up into the ceiling, I was unable to chase them from there.

Bob, you are aware that I do some remodeling to homes. I think I have seen something that would help you greatly. At Lowe's they have a circuit tester for checking to see if a curcit is turned off when you flip a breaker. One part is plugged into receptacle, and the other is carried to breaker box. When you flip breaker off, it sounds a beep in the part you have in hand. Was too expensive for my needs, but as all your wire is covered, might be a great help.

hope to see you this weekend at tbr. john

I am not sure about your system.  Is this a 12 volt furnace?  Another tool that can be useful for tracing wiring would be a tone generator.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

Hi Bob,

Let me see if we can narrow this dog down....

Do you have Propane?
Is there a flu pipe out the side wall of your bus?
Is there round duct vents in your cabnits or walls?
Do you have a diesel fired heater, maybe with toe kick heaters?

If none of the above, then you can assume that your roofers have heat in them.

The breaker marked furnace is a 110 ac breaker.

The only thing I find are the possible heat opt in the roof top A/C units.  Could they be controlled by the wall thermostat?  I only see two knobs on them one is the temp and the other is the mode.

The only time I have seen roof top units like these they were controlled by the knobs on the bottom of the unit.   Then I have not ever used one with the heat option in it before.

I have had the bottom covers off both of them and I do not see any extra wires going into either of them that I would think were thermostat wires.  The only wires I see going into them are the three 120 ac power wires.

Here's an idea.... turn on the thermostat knobs and see where it gets hot.

It's entirely possibly the A/C units have heat strips in them. However, I don't think they would typically be controlled by a separate breaker.

If you have 110v breaker labeled furnace, you probably have electric baseboard or toe-kick heaters.

Or, maybe your whole ceiling is 110v radiant panels. Or maybe the PO embedded electric bathroom floor elements in the walls.

Do the AC units turn on?  Although a long shot, it is possible that the PO installed a line voltage thermostat to one of the roof top units.  Does the thermostat have heat and cooling options?

Bob some of the roof vents are controlled by a thermostat such as Fantastic fan.
