Well I had the belts for the A/C come off unbenounced to me and they tore through everything they could.

I got most of the damage taken care of except for the tail light wires, new belts and this mystery wire.

This wire is right above the rear electrical junction box and reaches all the way back to the rear doors ( see pic).

May be one of you with an MCI9 could look and see if this wire is there on yours and where it goes? (Might be on the 8s as well)

   I looked at our MC-8.  We do not have that wire on our bus.  I also looked at a 102A3 sitting in my yard. It has a couple cables coming out of the rear load center but both come out the same hole.  One appears to go to the tailgate and the other one goes to the rear control panel.  Jack

Looks like the Backup alarm wires.

Mine has the same cable and it goes
across the air cleaner to the backup alarm horn.

Of course my wire ends are dangling in mid air cause the lugs corroded off.
( Probably should fix that some day... )

Yea, Back-up or trailer lights...

I also don't have that wire in my 102C. Well, I do but, I ran it myself for my Jakes...
