So far everything has been just fine.  The generator has been running good all day.  The AC kept the bus at 76 today with the temps in the low 90s.  The humidity has been extremely high this weekend.  We will be headed back home in the morning.

It felt good to get out and use the bus.  After working on it so hard the past few months, I had questioned my sanity more than once.  Using it validates the work that has been done and while it has a long way to go it did provide some additional motivation to keep on working.

We showed up to our spot in Athens Friday about 7:30 PM was parked and setup shortly afterwards.  It was going to just be the wifey and me that night but before all was said and done we had 6 of us for the night.  Which was fine by us, that is one of the reasons we wanted to do this.  We have a bunch of friends that we only see during football season due to us being so spread out.

Saturday we got moving early since our game was at 12:30.  We hosted a group of about 20 before 11:00.  It was a good time.  We returned to the bus after the game about 4:30 it was a cool 76 on board which was a relief due to the high heat and humidity endured during the game.

Saturday night it was just Nickie and me which was nice to have some quiet alone time.  We returned Sunday and was home by noon.

All in all it was a pretty uneventful event as far as the bus.  We are planning to make about 6 more trips to games this fall.  I'll keep ya'll posted.

............. I had questioned my sanity more than once..........

Now the answer must of been that sanity is only a hinderence and not a requirement :D

I still haven't met that normal person that people speak of.

You've got to be crazy to have a bus, but you'd be crazy not to have one.

Congrats and hope the non rally isn't on gameday and y'all come up
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

The Non-Rally falls on an off week but I'm not sure we will make it.  I hit a snag with the gray/black tank and it has been delayed a few weeks.  So, I may not be eligible for entry, but I'm working at it.
