If any one is in the area near Evansville In.,this Fri.-Sunday is the Rod show at the Vanderburgh county fair grounds , just off Hwy.41 in Evansville, Im sorry to say camping may be limited ,but there is plenty of room for toads . They are expecting 4000 to 5000 pre 48 street rods this has always been a good family show. Oh ya! almost forgot we will be west of the lake with the bus and all over the grounds with our 29 ford pu. If any one can make it please stop by!!

Yes every year its about that amount. its not as big as the nationals held in Louisville Ky., but its a lot of fun.I will post pics. as asap. ,I think they have a web site for past yrs.

Dwayne I'll check with Mark and see what he's doing this week end, might just talk him into bringing up one or more of his "shops toys". We don't have a useable camper, but my sister lives just off 41 & Columbia (right down the street from the old liberty pull apart lot! (I think I heard th best of all she's in Colorodey moved it!). And best of all she's in Colorado, so it'd just be Mark, the BIL, and myself! LOL! We'll see!

Doug sorry but if we make it there won't be any room for "bus stuff" ! After all our dogs take up the whole beds of our duallys! Marks Newfoundland "Cruiser" is bigger than mine "Kumho" but they are both huge dogs! And well "Kumho" would have to come and see his cousin "Echo" who is the BIL & sisters Blk Lab! So sorry we'd have only dogs, and a hotrod or 2 ! LOL!   BK 









I'll take a rain check on that offer to work on yer bus for free though, just hang onto it for me! LOL!

I made it by today and stopped in at about 5:30. The bus was locked and you all were out. I will try to get by sometime else this weekend.
If you are going to the concert tomorrow night the short fat drummer is my uncle

  Sorry I missed you . We were running all around running power to all the area booths, getting the refrigeration and a/c operating, etc. If you get by and I'm not around ,I should be on a gator with tools and elect.stuff. ( I am 6ft2in and resemble Hermon Munster-one of many handles I answer to-- , flag me down)  Hope you enjoy the rod run!!
