Update is I was with Mike & Jay all day yesterday, and they don't think that their schedule is going to allow for them to make it this year! They wanted to for sure, but they said with medical issues & other things it was already gonna be hard, but they said if Cody wasn't gonna be able to make it thast they would just scrub it this yr. FWIW   BK 

PS If Cody is able to travel & Libby and the DR ok it we'll get Cody there one way or the other!

OK, here is the plan, we're firing up the bus tomorrow and heading to columbus for the MACC.  The MACC is too important to me and besides the heart attack was last week, I'm a fast healer and besides I don't like to live in the past. lol.  The doc has said it's ok as long as I'm careful and split the run up a little with rest and no pressure. cody

Yep, kinda giving it a try here too. After 40 years of smoking I'm giving it my best shot.  My doctor said because of my heart attack and the meds I'm on now I can't get a patch or any pills for at least 2 to 4 weeks, cause of what they tend to do to the blood pressure, so it's all on me, right now I'm at day 6 of the no smoking thing and doing ok with it so far.  I guess motivation is the big thing.  He said they have a bunch more stuff to do on my heart like valve work and I'm going to be a double bypass probably soon.  He said the need was found but at the point they found it, I wouldn't have made it thru th surgury so now I'm recovering from the shot to the beater and gathering steam for the next round, I'm thinking of haveing them install a set of jakes while they are in there.lol

Hope you are having someone who can drive for you for yours safety and others on the road.

Even if you are not driving but if...just if you should ever need a emergency again away from home care...you are more risk into more problems then missing this event. Every second counts when your in emergency room and not the same care as before.
