Friend Looking to Buy a Completed Coach.....

A friend of mine who lives in Vancouver WA is looking to purchase a completed conversion. I will tell you this much, he has been looking for several months, but none have caught his or his wife's eye yet. At least not enough to make a deal.

Of course one in the Northwest would be a bonus, as they would be able to look at it much easier than say one on the "Other" coast.

If you have or know of a coach for sale that is priced fair or willing to accept a "reasonable offer" send me a private email. I will forward it to him, then it's up to him to respond in kind. In other words if it don't work out, don't blame me. ;D I do not know what his budget is, but I would think below 80K. It's between you and him.

I have no personal interest in this at all other than to see him happy, he's had the bus bug for some time. I'm just doing this to help a "Wannabe Bus-Nut" to become an "Owner".

They own one of the nicest '57 Chevy's I have ever seen, he built it himself. It has one bad motor! Just so you know what they like and are capable of.

Thanks,

Paul

Paul being a Chevy Guy he obviously will want a GM coach ;D

Hee Hee  ::) ::)   ;D

It is red with black, very differant but gorgeous. You could eat off his engine, it's that polished! Wish I had a pic to share.

I have sent him all kinds, so he does know what's out there. I'm just trying to give him an extra push. :D

I even have sent him a couple of Eagles, as if you didn't know.........

HOw large a person are he and his wife?  tall, big?  I have a friend who has a buffalo with a gorgeous, finely crafted cherry interior.  Nothing to do on the inside, the outside could use some better paint.  Talking about half the budget price.  Its just not made for really big folks, or really tall folks.

Jim,

I would say both he and his wife are average size. Not taller than 5'10" for sure.

Send me the info off line and I'll forward it to him.

I'm not trying to persuade him with anything, it's all up to them.

I would like to see him in an Eagle though. ;D

Paul,  How bout a GM with an Eagle CAP?

Very funny. I've always wondered why they do that. Everytime I see one for sale I have to do a double take to make sure it is or not an Eagle. Guess they like to look, huh? ;D

yeah, I think it is more lack of taste....ooops.

now I like to look on the eagle as the rest of the bus works with it....but I just don;t get it on a GM.......unless your willing to sacrafice the good looks for a bit of interior room.....

but with that said you would be supprised the number of Capped GM's that still have the old structure inside.

Hi Ed,

He spent two days there with his wife. Iv'e been priming him for a couple of months that he should attend. View coaches, talk to sellers and eat lots of food.
They had a great time meeting lots of great people. They also viewed several coaches that were for sale. One that they liked was an Eagle from Spokane WA.

They both can't wait to buy one and start using it! They are know what they want, they just have to find it.

Paul -

If your friend picked up the flier for Bob Russell's Prevost, I overheard somebody Saturday night after dinner comment that he's VERY open to reasonable offers, as he really needs to sell it.

Another point to consider - since Bob's coach is based on a Canadian-built chassis, importing it back into BC will be a lot easier than some other models.
