Busted Knuckle

So where is this coach located? Also where are you? Just trying to get an idea where our new members are from. Let us know more of what ya need. I know of several wrecked and burned donors, and if the price is right on the right day someone who might be willing to add one or 2 to that list. And I'm with Sammy on doing away with those high dollar problem causing suspension brain boxes! Just something else to screw up over and over every several yrs, and big $ to replace them as they are the first thing robbed from a "parts bus" if they are any good to start with! ;D  BK  ;D

Gotta be a way to disable the ECAS system. I'd have to do some homework on that too. Might not kneel anymore, but should stay at ride height thru all conditions, like good old fashioned air suspensions  :).
If you have 2 trans connectors it's WTEC 2, if there's 3 it's WTEC 3. Maybe your local Allison guy can help with finding CIN if you give them trans serial number. Check with BK too, he's knows a ton of folks in the motorcocach industry, all over the country. He's a pro too.  8)
Keep us posted on your progress.

Hey, BK, I was in your neck of the woods last month; I flew to Atlanta and drove a Freightliner 'Sprinter' van back to Walla Walla for a guy.  Impressive little van.

I am in Lewiston, Idaho and the bus I am working on is in Walla Walla Washington.

I haven't talked to the owner about going "old fashioned" on the suspension. It wouldn't be too hard to plumb a valve and switch into the front bags to make it kneel on command. I used to plumb "air dumps" into truck air suspension that when operated right could hide 2500 to 3000 pounds from the scalemaster when weighed on an axle scale, 'till I got caught.  They have absolutely NO sense of humor about that kind of stuff.

I think I found the Relay Modules and a Trans ECU, thanks to this board.

On the left side just above the tag axle there is an air brake valve with a three prong plug into it. This three prong plug and about 10 inches of wiring has been cut off. I could just jury rig the plug to make it work, but then the moisture and corrosion would be a problem. I would like to get this pigtail from a dead bus so I could properly solder and heat shrink it into the harness and just plug it in.

That's all I can think of right now, there will be more later as I get started actually putting it all together.

The Allison guy can only get the proper CIN from the part number, he can't do anything with the serial number, go figure! The part number is a 295xxx number.

Thanks again!!

God Bless.

Capt, check out this link, http://www.meritorhvs.com/MeritorHVS_Documents/mm30.pdf
Should be very useful to you. Good luck.  8)

Thanks, that'll help a lot. It's the ABS that has some wires cut out of the harness.
