Parking in Asheville/Weaverville, NC

We are going to be visiting our son (and working our rears off) just north of Weaverille, NC, (north of Asheville) for 2 weeks .   I have found few campgrounds near, and really, no boondock parking spots.   

Does anyone have any suggestions.   I do not need any hook-ups.

We're about 1 1/2 hours south of Weaverville, probably not much help, but you are more than welcome to stop by for a day or 12.

Also, thanks to others that have looked.   I looked-up location maps.  I figured it was a long shot to find a place near Weaverville.

However, we are fortunate to have flat areas where we live.   If anyone wants a place to park or stop near Flint, MI, you are welcome.   Water, electric, and dump is available.

There is a Fairground in Asheville as FMCA had a Rally there a few years back.

I know it's not what you are looking for but I can recommend Mama Gerties campground in Ashville.  We enjoyed our stay there.
