Well, well, well.... Mom & Dad have done it again! They went and bought another ah ack cough cough MCI while I was on my way home from Florida! I wasn't  able to convince them it wasn't as good as a SETRA but hey the price was right and it is completely ready to put straight into service! I'll post pics when they get it home if I'm able to get them the right size. ;D  BK  ;D

with your growing MCI fleet maybe you want some bank buses......for yourself and your driver;s to sell to passengers as mementos of thier trip

cody

Well gezzzz, some kids parents, you just can't leave them alone anymore lol.

Awesome BK.  Looking forward to the pics!  So, you guys actually making money, or is it still just a "break even" proposition?

cody

If I had just half of BK's money, I'd throw slow riders money away lol.

Well we paid cash $ FOR THIS 1! (AND STILL HAVE $ IN THE BANK) And it's going straight into service to start making us more $ to buy another 45' Setra when the right deal is found! April, May, and June are our busiest months and I have had bookings for this bus for 2 months now starting this week. (Yes I was starting to get nervous about how I was going to cover them as it's only 4 days away), which is why I am OK with the decision to buy this super clean & way above average condition MCI. And it comes from an associate whom we know is absolutely meticulous about the shape & appearance of his one and only coach! And we also know the previous owner who he bought it from who had it for quite some time. So we are quite confident that even though it is a little older, and an MCI it will still be a great asset to our company. I'll be taking pics tomorrow in the daylight since it hasn't rolled in yet! And thanks everybody for the encouragement! And I guess mom & dad are finally taking me seriously when I tell them "let's just spend it as we make it that way Jeannie (my sister) & I won't have to fight over an inheritance at an estate hearing because it'll already be spent!" LOL! ;D  BK  ;D

Awesome BK,

Just think of how large your stable is getting. One day you will look back and just smile at the inheritance sitting there, better yet on the road.

Now you just need an Eagle to compliment your collection! ;)

Good Luck and I wish you much success!

Happy Trails,

We spent a couple of weeks visiting with BK and his parents and I saw the buses rolling in and rolling out on charters, each time one of the busses rolled in, Cat would get busy and detail it out, she cleaned it from top to bottom, inside and out, those buses were spotless when she was done, BK and his dad, and Dallas would check them out mechanically and take care of any thing that they thought needed attention, that coupled with great personalities is what makes an operation work.  The secret to being successful in a tough market is to go the extra mile and they sure seem to do that. (Did I say that right BK? lol)

Good Luck BK,
I am glad your business is still going strong when many are failing. Say hello to your parents for us also and convey our best to them as well. We sure enjoyed meeting the 3 of you at your rally and the dinner after the casino bash.
Good Luck again and congratulations on the new fleet purchase. Won't be long and you'll have as many buses as Kyle!

For those of us who haven't been keeping score, how about an updated roster of your fleet?

Also, seriously consider Doug's (tekebird) offer - great promotional tools!

Do I hear a repo S-417 calling your name???

OK can do!

Let' s start with
# 707 '86 TMC 102A3 with 6V92TA & 740, aluminum wheels, 2 yr old remanned engine and fairly new interior.

# 712 '89 Setra S215 with a fresh 8V92 DDEC & 748 but had H2O in oil after one trip so P. O. drained all fluids and parked it right where it sits in Rexburg, ID (I have plans to post it on Ebay very soon, or go get it and bring it home)

# 717 '91 Setra S215 8V92 DDEC & 748, very strong runner but used pumped out 12 gallons of oil & 2 gallons of Lucas in the 1676 mile trip home! Right now being looked at and probably gonna get a set of heads (driver side is the problem) and new interior and put into service very soon!

# 722 '95 Setra S217 (45'er) Series 60 & B500 in pretty good shape on the road making $ since the day we brought her home this time last year!

and last but not least the newest addition is
# 727 '85 MCI 96A3 6V92TA & 740 the whole coach is in immaculent condition! Highly polished stainless and aluminum wheels. Nice color stripes and good interior. We know the P. O. of 4 yrs and also the original P. O. he bought it from, and that it has been well taken care of! Always been a southern bus NO RUST AT ALL! Always been in charter service never been a hound & we are the 3rd owners! Yes it is an MCI & only a 96" wide 40'er but we couldn't pass it up!

That is the current run down of the buses we own all free and clear no $ owed! I'm still trying to figure out how to reset the size of pics my camera takes so I can take current pics and post them of all our coaches. (especially when the sign guy gets done lettering the 2 that need it and adding some graphics to the ones that don't!
