Figured that one of the more experienced bus gurus here would know when the last 4107 was produced. I saw a guy selling one that he said was a 1975, but I thought production quit before then on that model. Any info?

Thanks

When I googled it, I came up with 1966-1969.  After that could it be a 4108 or a 4905?

I was told 68-9 was the last. The bus I was looking at was a 4108A, which they made through '78.

Thanks

Hi BCT,

Referring to my beloved copy of the MAK Publishing Bus Identification Chart:

GMC PD 4107 / 4108
1966 to 1979
35 feet long
8 feet wide
11 feet high
8V-71 DD Diesel
Manual 4-speed
Available V730
3-plate wet disc
290 cu ft luggage bays
140 gallon fuel
Air ride suspension
Optional power steering

If I'm not mistaken, the Photo ID chart is still available here at Bus Conversions.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride
