lost dream need help

   my dream has been my 1977 MCI-8 but my world has been turned upside down.
family problems[sick kid] so everything has to change, I know I payed to much
for my bus,$6500, I bought it in eastern Nebraska and drove it to Seattle Wa.
it runs fine with lots of power. but turns out had rust in the front from the floor
to the dash, some in the walls, the windows and frames where bad. so for the
last year I've been striping all the metal off the front, removed all the windows
and frames, the metal from the roof to the floor,and the bathroom. getting
ready to raise the roof. I already have 6 nice tinted RV windows and new rubber
seal for windshield. now it seams I have to turn my dream over to someone
else REAL cheep. they will probably need a 30' trailer to take it out of here.
   I don't know if this is the right place to talk about this or not. I hope I don't
offend anyone. I hope someone knows someone who would like to start a bus
project. it has a nice 8V71 with auto tran.
   I really need help with this, any help welcome. and I thank you all from the
bottom of my heart. you can't believe how hard this is.

   I would like to thank you all for your prayers and advice it's been a
real help. if we didn't have to leave the Seattle area I would keep my
bus, but we have to move. I would hate to see my bus go for scrap
metal. I know the eng. & trans. are good. I haven't gone to BNO site
yet but I will. this is such a neat site I'll miss it  and again thank you all

Just a few questions, and not being a smart aleck... If you have to move, and your child is sick and cash is at a premium, why not use the bus as your moving van?
It's amazing what you can store in a bus for travel. My conversion of a '52 PD4103 with really tiny bays and a 200 gallon aux tank still gives me enough room to carry all my mechanics tools and the wifes antique glass, and a lot of spare parts for other buses, and I still have room for my 80 gallon waste tank, 4.5Kw generator and the house batteries.
If your coach is usable at all, you may be well off to have it hauled on a lowboy after loading it, or making it runnable.
If you look at the prices that Allied, Bekins, NAVL and the rest charge for a move, it makes a lowboy look good in the short run, and lets you keep the coach in the long run.

   hello dallas
I tryed to send a message on the 27th but my office computer didn't
work or maybe it was me. as I said in my first post I've been working
on the bus, all the windows and frames are gone, the metal from the
roof to the floor is gone, the windshields are out( but I have new
gaskets for them) the bathroom is gone, metal is off the front (but I
saved all the stainless) I'll weld the old dash back so I can fix steering
column back, air works fine, but no lights, I'll hot wire eng so bus can
be move I have RV cover on the bus now so it's dry. I have 6 tinted
RV windows and other odds/ends to go with it. that is why it will need
a trailer to hall it. all of my time and money will go for my daughter
and grandkids so the bus must go. but I really thank you all for your
prayers and advice. if your friends are still interested they can call
my home till 10-11pm 425-255-1571 or the office from  9am to 6pm
