Just got back from a 1000 mile trip.
I got about 7 MPG at speed of 60 to 65 miles per an hour on two lane hwy. But I made only 5 MPG at 65 to 70 MPH on interstate hwy.
What has been your experience?

I keep a log and always drive 55 where applicable and 60 on the interstates. Without fail, I'm always in the 8MPG range w/892 and 5spd Auto. Most truckers pass me on the flats and I seem to overtake them again on the hills.

My '87 MC9/6V92TA gets exactly what you describe.  On relatively flat interstates below 65 it gets 6-7 MPG.  My brother's 29' Class C gets the same thing....but his gasoline is cheaper than my diesel... :-[
Now if you get up into the mountains....what's in your wallet!  :o
Oh well.  I'm moving the whole house when I travel!
