No Gerfingerpoken here.  I have an almost phobic fear of the MCI fan belt.  I wonder how many injuries it has caused over the years.

Tenor, I love it a true sense of humor pointing out the actual truth! LMAO!
By the way I've never been injured by an MCI fan belt but then again I am always very alert & cautious around it! Yes I have many times reached thru it, or around it to rev one up or shut it down by hand! I too have often wondered how many careless folks have been injured by them.

All our new transits Orion/New Flyer for the last decade have been coming with an optional cage over the fan belts...

PITA, but then, it's a lot harder to get caught up in them, when in there for other reasons...

happy coaching!

Rofl!!

Although it's obvious what is said and meant I fed that into Alta Vista Babel Fish Translation to see what it would come up with and here it is:

NOTE! The machine is not fur Gerfingerpoken and in the middle-digs. Easy snatches if that is jumping work, blowenfusen and poppencorken with sharpen-park. Is not fur trades by the Dummkopfen. The rubbernecken sightseeren keepen hands in pockets. Relaxen and watch the Blinkenlights

As long as you mention it, I can tell you precisely the first time I saw this (although it had the word "kontrol" in it, right after "machine": "Das machine kontrol ist nicht...".  It was 1974 (yes, 34 years ago), and it was taped to the front of a PDP-8/e minicomputer for which I had some administrative responsibilities.

Even then, the sign I remember was probably a third- or fourth-generation photocopy of an original that pre-dated it by another decade.  But it was funny, and, oddly enough, I think it actually worked, which is to say, it had some effect in keeping people's paws off the controls.

Ah, the good old days.
