I heard some scuttlebutt that with Sirius taking over Xm, and Xm already offering a few TV channels (in the new Dodge minivans ??), that Satellite Tv through Sirius might be in the not so far future..anyone hear anything ?

Look at the VuCube.  Truckers use it and also sells at Camping World.  Compact, works with your Direct or Dish service so gets all the channels, not just a few.  Could be mounted on a bracket at the rear of the bus like trucks do behind the cab.  Just a suggestion, I haven't seen one in action or haven't bought one yet.  Doesn't work in-motion, but starting price for basic system is advertized on-line at $695.
Well no longer a bus nut, but over the years I learned a lot here and still come back to see what I can apply to the conversion of my KW T2000 for hauling my Teton fifth wheeler.

Nick,

I Don't believe they have not merged just yet. There are some legislative hurdles that must still be overcome.

My ex-wife's cousin is a big wig at XM and they have not as of yet made a merger. As stated before there are some government issues to deal with.

Nothing is a done deal in communications until everyone figures out who is going to make the most money.  I would love them to complete the deal so I could get Howard Stern on XM.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I want my Nascar back. XM lost the contract, it was on Sirius last season, and that was why I purchased XM in the first place.  Jack
