inspection of a coach befor purchase

I am looking to purchase a 1983 newell ooach in the next week.  It looks good in the pictures but it is a large purchase and I am tryin to be sure it is in good mechanical shape.  I have made a $500 deposit dependent on a inspection.  I am in indiana and the coach is in houston texas.  Can someone refer me to a person or business In houston to inspect and give me a report on this coach?  Thanks in advance for your help

I know that Newell recomends that their warranty service be done at Cat Dealers. Maybe there is a cat dealer near where

the coach is??

Is this Jeff Horton's Coach?  I know he started a remodel  and I think his mechanicals were in good order..

Jack, try PPL at 1-800-775-4775 in Houston they may can help on the RV part and set up something on the engine. If the Newell has a DD call Stewart and Stevenson at 1-800-923-2161 if its a Cat call Mustang Equipment at 1-800-256-1001      good luck
