Well after moving the shop and finnishing the 16V92TA I went to the pacific marine show in Seattle wa came home for thanksgiving and then went to the work boat show in new orleans, I am Home. yea

I had to move the shop so I hired a guy to finish the 16V92 for me, then songman, and a couple of other guys helped me move. I had to let the mechanic go and redo almost everything he did and finished it the day i had to leave for Seattle. I asked songman and another friend of mine to load the engine when the guy showed up for it and I took off. I came home and spent thanksgiving with my family and got ready for the work boat show, the day before I left my mother in-law had a mild TIA and I did not want to leave. My wife told me to get lost so I headed for new orleans with a heavy heart. I was on the phone constently with me wife till she got mad at me for calling so much.

The work boat show was a sucess. I left new orleans on saturday morrning at 7am an drove up to ammarillo Tx ariving at 1:30 am spent a few hours in the rack at the wall mart then did some shopping in the store before taking off. I drove into kingman Az and made a right turn and went over to las vegas and spent the night. Got up the next morrning and went over to the henderson mall and did some christmas shopping and headed home where I arived around 7 pm. Over all it was a good trip, all thou the wind was blowing hard in texas. To all those along the way I am sorry I did not stop to see you but other than the side trip to las vegas I felt I needed to get home and help my wife. Mother in-law is getting better and looks like she will make a full recovery. On thursday I had to go the scramento to work on a couple of engine and got back late last night. Hope every one is doing well and it may be early but I wish every one a very mary christmas and a wonderful new year. May y'll have good trips in your buses and skies be fair, above all be carefull out there.

Don did my engine rebuild-going from 300hp and 800lb/ft torque to 375hp and 1100lb/ft torque-or went from brown tag 65 injectors to 9G75 injectors.  Added air to air intercooling, larger radiator, by pass blower, turbocharger from Series 60, transmission overhaul, aux trans cooler, etc.  The difference in driveability is night and day, the bus doesn't smoke at altitude, and just is plainly a joy to drive now.
Will be in Las Vegas 13-17 next week at Circus Circus KOA.
Don is one of the few remaining wizards of 2 stroke Detroits.  Highly recommend his services.  Good Luck, TomC

He must be good... I am even learning a few things about diesels by hanging around him! haha

And my little girl loves hanging out on the Country Coach and watching TV!
