Well we spent last week in Daytona Beach at the International Speedway attending the country's largest Street Rod Show. It was really neat with almost 5200 street rods there and almost 4,000 parts vendors. It takes days to see the entire show. I have included 41 pictures here hope you like them.

I've been to the Turkey Run a few times in the past. It really is an overwhelming event. Of course, part of what makes it that way is probably telling your family that you have to leave right after the turkey so you can make it down to the track to see the cars!

Link doesn't work for me either.

Dave,
Looking forward to seeing those pix!!! Have you ever been to Louisville KY to the NSRA Street Rod Nationals??  If you like these beauties, THIS is the place!! I do believe there were over 13,000 Rods there this year!!!!!!!!!!! ALL pre '48 streetrods. I drive my '56 down almost every year, but have to park with the new cars.  :'(  lolol  ;D
Hot rodding is alive and well,

Been to the Turkey run -- it does not hold a candle to "Back to the 50's" in Minnesota - they limit enties! Last time only 11,000 pre 1964 hot rods there. Neat part is that all the cars have to leave every night and return the next day so you get to see them run.

Those are fantastic too. The guy that does that is "all about" his Hot Rod Brothers and Sisters. He doesn't charge high festival prices for drinks and eats etc. He does it for the love of the sport. I think NSRA and/or Good Guys tried to buy him out, but he won't sell because he feels they just do it for the bucks. They say he is one good fella.
  My kinda guy.
