After much thought I am going to keep my engine cooling system seperate from my proheat system (no engine coolant through my proheat) but instead use a flat plate heat exchanger in place of my now removed bus heat radiator and heat my engine through that method and when going down the road use the heat from the bus coolant system to provide my heat through that same flat plate heat exchanger. That way if one system has a major break down the other is still functional.

We decided to keep our ProHeat and engine systems separate, mainly for the same reason that Charlie mentioned. If one side fails it does not disable the other. We also installed ball valves and "hydraulic type" fittings at the ProHeat to enable it to be removed without draining the entire system.  Jack
