Howdy folks

I've owned about 80 buses, about 3 large trucks, 3 medium trucks, 5 fire trucks, about 15 pickups, and a lot of associated cars and machines.  I've also dismantled about 25 buses, and several pickups, and god knows what else.

If you need advice on diesel stuff or mechanics in general, or (!) want to buy a good used Crown or Gillig bus or fire truck, or parts, feel free to drop me a line.

My email is WheelchairBusProject@yahoo.com  and my phones are (559) 251-3814  or  (559) 244-1042

Have a good one

Hey Patrick,

Welcome.

I Googled "fire truck for sale"  a couple of months ago and found at least 25 for sale.   Some as low as $3000.   The antique ones were $25k and higher.  Someone could find a great power train in a fire truck and stick it in his bus,  but too far beyond my skill and ability.

Hey Patrick,
Thanks again for the help with my new MC-5a.  I am still looking into problems.  You may have noticed in another thread that it has been suggested that my reverse bucking is due to a broken motor mount.  I don't know if that's it, but it sounds worth checking.  I am looking into finding a good mechanic here.  I have a couple of prospects.  I still need those wiper switches.  When can you send them?  Lin
You don't have to believe everything you think.
