Hi Everybody,

I'd like to see some pics of the 5s 10s and 20s of the front crowns to understand the exact differences in the area where the windshields meet the breast.  Any info here would be appreciated.
Eagle is laying me up a 20 crown and Ill be modifying it to fit my 5.

Thanks ......Steve......

Steve, if you can find a Model 15 to look at you will see what your are looking for because they are 96in on the front

manasst, that would be perfect if we can catch you there.  whats your itenerary around that time.  we are about 70 miles from louisville.  Or if your coming up 75 or 64 we live less than 5 miles from either one and well buy the coffee.  Dont mind to come to Louisville at all though.  You tell us where you are and well come to you buddy.  Allways enjoy meeting fellow bus nuts. ....Steve....

I have an NJT Eagle model 20 with the destination sign molded in the fiberglass.  I have price from the West Coast a cap to replace from the top of my windshield up so I will have the "Eagle" look.  Do you think we could save some money if they make two at the same time?

The RV Industry Assoc is holding their private, dealers and manufacturers only show at the Kentucky Expo.  at this time, we are planning on staying in our bus on the grounds, (although $45/nite seems high for just electric).  We'll be there the 26-28th at least.

We'll be coming down i-71/75 from Ohio, then i-71 over, probably on sunday, 25th.

if it helps any, we're the "Just Cruisen" Eagle in last months BCM centerfold, with the big, Internet antenna on top.

Art,

My order has been placed allready but, I think if you call Eagle in Texas you will find that they will probably be about the same price and of course shipping only half way across the country has got to save some money.  Hope this helps. .....Steve.......

Tom,
I'll start planning to find you, come the end of the month.  I appreciate it buddy. Nice bus by the way.  I have not renewed by mag subscription so I have not seen the layout inside.   Looking forward to the nickel tour end of the month.   ...Steve....

Where are you comin in from?  i don't like posting personal cell numbers, but if you call the office number listed and ask for me, i'll give you my cell so we can touch base and get you cleared in to visit if need be.  or if you are closer to the i-71/75 split, we could meet at flyingj or somewhere closer to you on sunday.

up to you.

Has anyone else done the conversion to the larger windshields? I have thought about this and wondered how difficult (and expensive) it is. Since we are raising the roof 10", I hate the idea of having that much space added above the windshield. I thought about doing a high driver and adding it beneath but wanted to consider the taller glass too.

Bigger windshields certainly give you a bigger view and more light inside the bus. However, the downside is that much more radiant heat enters through that bigger windshield.  Just something to consider, your choice.  Jack

Songman,

I am the odd man again.  I like the low windshield for what it provides when driving....shade.  I would opt for a 7 windshield on a 102 if I could.

Songman, i see 05s and 10s with this windshield, the width is the same i believe just 7" taller the reason is a 15 a 102" wide bus like i have are only 96" wide on the front.Eagle people that could answer your questions read this board but do not post for some reason
