I love reading peoples web pages, they give me great ideas and lot's of help but I'm not sure I'd try that repower myself. You're a brave soul!

You're a brave soul!

Thanks Dax, that is very kind!  I think I'm definitely qualified for the "BusNut" title now.

Everytime I see that picture of your jeep at the rest area 20 miles from the truck shop it makes my heart skip a beat. I should have have had you take my truck too! You're a brave guy, Brian for taking on this project. I'm very impressed and still am hoping to swing by sometime to see the workmanship in person.

Brian, Great Job!  I know the hours don't show or most just don't realize how much you accomplished, but I do!  Thanks for the docudrama!  I'm totally amazed at how well your Jeep handled that towing job. One of the draws of doing it yourself is how much you learn in the process, this has to be a complete confidence builder for a busnut.

Thanks Brian for sharing with us.

All I can say is it took lots of guts to do what you did, and you did a wonderful job.

Good Luck and

Thanks for the compliments everyone.  I'll be updating the site again in a few days (hopefully) with a list of the parts I have left over that I want to sell.

Oops! Posted this as part of a message in another thread and it should have gone here...

Brian, I hope to use your site as a way to convince my wife that 'steel tenting' is a good thing. She keeps saying she don't want us to use the bus until it is done.
