Is anyone running one of these and know where to get it?  Bill Thomas

By the way, I thought the subject filter was a Donaldson.  Turns out according to George T. whom I talked to about an hour ago, this unit was an Ecco.  So that is what I am trying to find.  Bill T.

Bill, the ECO filter is a self contained filter and you can get them from Napa Auto as far as the K&N i don't think you can buy those any longer.i have been using the ECO system for years and the only thing i don't like is the price

Highly recommend you NOT use a K&N filter even if you have one.  It has been found that the K&N do NOT filter very well-they flow well though.  Personally, a good Donaldson, Delco, filter is best-just replace when needed.  Good Luck, TomC

Tom,  I highly respect your advise and will get in touch with Donaldson tomorrow and see what I can do.  I am not happy that the air cleaner was lost with the rubber elbows and fittings.  I could get rid of the K&N insert, and go back to the Ecco filter, but it is a real hassle to figure out how the plumbing went and hood everything back up.  That is why I posted about the oil recovery unit.  The blower inlet is about 5".  The lower horsepower 671 I think is 3".  It would sure help if someone had the same setup that could help me figure this out.  George helped me today by identifying the brands and especially the Walker oil revovery unit.  I plan to call them in the morning to see if they recognize the unit.  Bill

I just went with a new Donaldson air filter for my 8V71TA there part number is G112504.
Little hard getting it in, but it's all done and happy with it.
