Has anyone licensed their bus with collector plates.   Here in Wa. state a vehicle has to be at least 30 years old and pay for normal license once to get plates.  Certain stipulations on when you drive and milage but might work in some cases.

I put them on my bus and have had no problems with them. Here are the posts where we went through this topic a while back:

Here in PA, I have "antique" and "classic" plates on the older cars that I own. I have considered these for my 4104, but have decided against it.  One major reason is that the current tag has "Motorhome" on it.  This is a quick and easy way to prove to someone that this not a commercial vehicle and is classified the same as a a S&S with regard to parking fees, bridge tolls, and CDL.
If you're going to be dumb, you gotta be tough.

getting classic/antique plate on a bus in PA is possible...but not for a conversion, the code is very specific on what is allowed.

BTW my dad was the first person to get Classic plates on a bus in PA some 15 years ago maybe.  took alot of doing including a bunch of photos and a letter from the manufacturer stating that it was a good restored example.

PA states that the vehicle must be unmodified, so street rods and such can't have classic plates legally.....unless you had it titled and plated as such before you modified it......but get pulled over and "you got some explanin' to Do" said in Cuban accent

I got the Hobby/Antique tag here in Georgia.  I didn't even have to ask, they just offered them.
