Sunday afternoon I was heading South on the 101 just south of Ventura and as usual in Southern California, I was sitting almost dead still in a traffic jam. While I was sitting there wishing I was in the northbound lane which was flowing freely, all of a sudden I spotted a conversion bus headed north pulling a toad... Then another one... and then another one... Got me all excited that there were people actually out enjoying their rigs!

I didn't get a good look to give a description of the buses but the first two appeared to be 4106s or similar (maybe 4905s ?), and taking up the rear spot was an Eagle. Sound familiar to anyone? Whoever it was, I am jealous of the fun they were having.

If you had come to BK's rally, you wouldn't have been sitting in traffic and could have seen quite a few folks enjoying their buses and even enjoyed them also. LOL  The advantage to your not being here was that you didn't have to see Don's truck get bumped.  I hope there wasn't any hidden damage to it and the rest of his trip goes better.

As it turns out, it is a good thing I wasn't able to come. I am spending my days in the ICU ward with my father-in-law. I was on my way down to the hospital when I got caught in the traffic. He is fine but my wife would have been a basket case if I had been across the country when this happened.

In that case, I'm glad you were there.  I hope he is going to be ok. Please let your wife know that her dad and the whole family will be in the prayers of both Dallas and I.  Cat

Thanks Cat. He is doing better. They never did find the source of the problem but they are satisfied that he is going to be alright. He is in a regular room tonight and I will be bringing him home tomorrow. So now we just hope the problem doesn't reappear. Thanks for the prayers.
