In speaking with my credit union and insurance company re: an '82 Prevost Im looking at, they both need the "blue book valu" for the vehicle. Ive done a bunch of searches but came up empty. Anyone dealt with this or have any ideas ?

does a bit...however there is still no "Blue Book" like with cars.

Kelly Blue Book or NADA

National Bus trader has a reference, but it is soley based of buses that sell through thier classifieds and is not always a good representation.

I looked high and low before buying my bus and I could not find anyone that would lend on a seated bus, unless it was at operator type prices, say $4,000 a month payments.  The current wisdom, substantiated by my resesarch is that the banks will lend only on a converted bus, with an appraisal.

And yes, there is a very large difference in value betweenn seated and converted, either RV or entertainer.
