Brian ... one way to look at it is you will have a trouble free bus on the road. I replaced everything in my bus, new motor, brakes, wheel bearing, steering components, etc and I have never had a problem on the road ... it fires up and goes ... 2 to 3 K a month. I am very diligent on maintenance I do most of it myself and because I keep everything in good running order the maintenance cost are low.

You can pay for it now ... while it's at your place (cheap) or you can pay for it on the road (expensive).

I feel your pain brother. Last Monday AM my fan blade went thru the radiator of my model 10. New core 2000.00. (best price in Omaha). Eagle was like 1,800.oo plus shipping. The wife needed the bus for a show on thurs. so she and I went to Atlanta on Mon at 8pm and p/u a new/used one from Todd Lay at Atlanta custom coach. works great as promised by Todd. Show went well and no problems in fact I lost 9 deg. on my temp gauge..... But I still FEEL your PAIN.

Ok, the new radiator is in!  It took maybe 20 minutes with three guys.  It helps that the shroud was not attached like when it was removed.  Removal of the radiator took well over an hour with just two people.

I still have to reinstall all the supporting brackets and such, but that is the easy part that I can do myself.

One bummer is  I realized I left a short piece of silicone radiator hose on the radiator when the radiator went to the radiator shop and of course they didn't return the hose.  Luckily, one local truck parts place is open Sunday and I know they have silicone hose.  ( I already was there Saturday to replace a small piece of silicone hose that got torn.)

The latest update on the radiator is that we got the framework back together last night.  We didn't finish last night because it got dark and the light we were using just wasn't enough.  I have to reinstall the fan, a few hoses, and dump in the coolant yet.

I hope to be able to take a little trip this evening and then get back to working on the conversion items that need to be done before we leave in a few weeks.

I have'nt been able to do much exterior work in the evening on the bus lately due to monster mosquitos after alll the rain recently.
