Truly a beautiful coach, very 'stock' exterior, even still has the stock HVAC.

I'll pass the compliments along.

He is very proud of it.  I prefer this one to his new one, but how often do you find a  any bus with 70k

If I didn't have my MC 8 I'd be all over it.

Dreamscape

If I didn't have our Eagle I would jump all over it. Very nice looking older coach. tekebird, tell your dad to keep it! ;D

Paul

Busted Knuckle

Yeah Teke,
Tell him to keep it! He can be like Kyle and start a collection! LOL! (only his would run)! Sorry Kyle! I knew if I didn't say it Dallas would!). That is such a cool looking coach! Especially for being original in exterior! And the ad is awesome too! I was reading the board thinking only a true busnut/bus historian could write such a thorough and informative add! Then I discover you were behind it!LOL! I should've known from the location in you were involved!LOL! Still I think it's cool! And if I were your dad I'd keep 'm both!
;D  BK  ;D

PS I never knew of the connection between you and Royal Coach! Tell yer dad that if he'll make some Setra S215 HDH, S217 HDH & S417 models I'll buy some and also help him pedal some to friends who have them also! FWIW  ;D

I would expect 500,000 out of a properly maintained 2 stroke detroit in a bus application providing it was not souped up.

200k is just broken in and starting to get into it's own groove.

tekebird

I am sure he would like to keep it as would I, but one can only drive so many buses.  of course this is not the most he has owned since selling the charter Company.

at one point he had the 4108 thats for sale, two Flxible Flxliners ( seated, one restored one servicable), a 4905 (seated) and the Mack MV620 prototype (restored.)

Thats actually more than we OWNED when the charter business was in operation....LOL

Barn Owl

If taken care of 200k is kind of like 30k to 40k in a car from that era.
