I'm slowly getting ready for the first major run of the summer, heading to Columbus Ohio for the MACC (Musicians Against Childhood Cancer) Bluegrass Fest on friday.  This is a benefit with the proceeds going to St Judes Hospital and is shaping up to be a blast. Not sure if anyone from this forum is going to be there but will be looking anyway.  The gates open on sunday the 22nd and it's first come, first served for the sites with the music starting on wednesday thru saturday night, but the real fun is the jamming around the different campsites. Anyone that wants to head there can google the site for information on it.  It's going to be a lot of fun, we're looking forward to it, I know we have some bluegrass pickers here on the forum and I'm thinking maybe others might be going too.  If you are, just look for a white Eagle lol, meanwhile I'll be checking any buses I find, might be finding someone from here lol.

Thanks richard for adding the link, I'm like a kid at christmas waiting for the green light to hit the road, lol. I've even put together an emergency kit to handle any thing that might come up on the road, I've got a quart of oil, belt repair kit, you know the kind where it's an inner tube you stretch over the pulleys?, got a bicycle pump for any flats and a flyswatter to ward off all the female groupies that might attack me at the fest, even got a church key incase I find an old beer in the cupboard that isn't a poptop, three guitar picks and an extra "E" string for the guitar.  Can't think of anything else I might need.

Hey Cody, did you say "a quart of oil"?  I hope you meant "a gallon of oil"!

It'll be a blast, hopefully a smooth run without problems, any problems that come up tho we'll handle by either calling road service or naming it Dallas lol.  Just going slightly crazy here getting the last things on the list cleared off, I find that "whiteout" works well for that.
